We have been running an ongoing corrective action campaign relating to a potential safety issue with some of our tumble dryers concerning the build-up of lint.
The corrective action programme only affects tumble dryers manufactured between April 2004 and September 2015. Anything manufactured after this date is not affected.
Please note the corrective programme only applies to tumble dryers under the Hotpoint, Indesit, Ariston, Creda, Swan and Proline brands and that tumble dryers under the Whirlpool brand are not affected.
If your tumble dryer has already been modified be assured that this issue is now resolved for you ad no further action is required.
